Meesho's net loss narrowed 68% to ₹132.4 crore in the September 2026 quarter from ₹411.4 crore a year earlier, as revenue from operations rose 34% to ₹4,131.6 crore, according to results reported by Inc42 on 28 October 2026.

The loss was flat from ₹132.8 crore in the June quarter, while revenue grew 11% quarter on quarter. Part of the year-on-year improvement comes from one-offs: the year-ago quarter carried ₹45 crore of exceptional expenses and a ₹64.4 crore tax charge that did not recur. Before exceptional items and tax, the loss fell 57% to ₹123.3 crore.

Why it matters

A contribution margin that has almost doubled in a year means Meesho now earns more on each order before fixed costs, even as its overall loss holds steady quarter to quarter. Other listed consumer-tech companies are reporting mixed numbers this season: Swiggy's Q2 loss narrowed to ₹922 crore even as its shares fell 24.5% in a week.
