Quint Digital Ltd's consolidated revenue from operations rose 372% year on year to ₹36.78 crore in the September 2026 quarter, but it reported a net loss of ₹2.86 crore, according to results filed on 19 October and reported by Indian Television. A year earlier it had revenue of ₹7.79 crore and a loss of ₹4.36 lakh.

Almost all of the growth came from media-technology firm Quintype, which earned ₹34.3 crore in the quarter, Storyboard18 reported. Quintype became a subsidiary from 1 October 2025, when Quint Digital's US unit took a 50% stake, so the year-ago quarter does not include it.

Costs rose faster than revenue

Total expenses climbed to ₹43.93 crore from ₹11.64 crore a year earlier, per the filing:

  • Employee costs: ₹18.26 crore, up from ₹5.70 crore
  • Finance costs: ₹5.12 crore, up from ₹56.90 lakh
  • Depreciation and amortisation: ₹3.96 crore, up from ₹1.25 crore

The company reported an adjusted profit before tax of ₹5.67 crore, Storyboard18 said. That measure excludes interest, depreciation, non-cash items such as stock-option charges and one-time costs for its Time Out launch.

Half-year and balance sheet

For the six months to 30 September, revenue was ₹71.57 crore, up from ₹15.78 crore, and the net loss was ₹5.83 crore, against a profit of ₹4.45 crore a year earlier. Non-current borrowings rose to ₹91.28 crore from ₹25.27 crore at the end of March, after the company allotted ₹50 crore of debentures in July.

It also raised ₹90.87 crore through a rights issue that was fully subscribed, according to Storyboard18.

Quint Digital plans to open Time Out Market Delhi at Worldmark, Aerocity, in December 2026, with 11 food concepts and two bars, Storyboard18 reported. Its other holdings include a significant minority stake in US newspaper group Lee Enterprises and analytics platform ListenFirst Media.
