New OTT Releases This Week: Akka, Baaththa, Dhindora, Obsession and Rudravanam PS

Netflix dominates this week's streaming releases in India, with Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte's gangster series Akka, Vijay Sethupathi's Baaththa, Bhuvan Bam's Dhindora and the family comedy Meethe Mein Kya Hai all arriving between 28 and 30 October 2026, according to listings by Sacnilk and The Daily Jagran.

The big Indian releases

• Akka (Netflix, 30 October): a 1980s gangster series starring Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte, from Yash Raj Films' streaming arm.
• Baaththa (Netflix, 29 October): Tamil gangster comedy starring Vijay Sethupathi, also dubbed into other languages.
• Dhindora season 1 (Netflix, 28 October): Bhuvan Bam's Hindi family comedy series.
• Meethe Mein Kya Hai (Netflix, 30 October): Hindi family comedy with Ritwik Bhowmik and Rohini Hattangadi.
• Rudravanam PS (ZEE5, 30 October): Telugu crime thriller starring Naresh Agastya.
• Obsession (JioHotstar, 30 October): supernatural horror film, in English and Hindi.

International titles

• The One About Matthew Perry (Netflix, 27 October): documentary on the Friends actor.
• Drive: The Pretenders (Prime Video, 28 October).
• Balaraw: Blood Island (Netflix, 29 October): horror-mystery series.
• How to Ruin Diwali: Meet the Parents (Netflix, 30 October): South African comedy set around a Diwali family gathering.
• Apocalypse Z: New World (Prime Video, 30 October): Spanish survival thriller.
