How to Check Jio Platforms IPO Allotment Status on KFin, NSE and BSE

Allotment for India's largest IPO is due on Monday, 26 October. Here is how to check your status on the registrar's and exchanges' websites, and what happens next if you did or didn't get shares.

Why it mattersMore than 1.35 crore applications were made for Jio Platforms' IPO, and with the retail portion subscribed 2.72 times, many applicants will not get shares; knowing where to check and when funds are released saves worry and wasted calls.

Allotment of shares in Jio Platforms' ₹30,213 crore initial public offering, the largest in India's history, is expected to be finalised on Monday, 26 October 2026. Applicants can check whether they received shares on the website of the registrar, KFin Technologies, or on the NSE and BSE websites, using their PAN or application number, according to guides published by Kotak Neo and HDFC Sky.

The status appears only once the basis of allotment has been uploaded, so if your details return no result on Monday morning, check again later in the day.

Key dates

  • Allotment: Monday, 26 October (expected)
  • Refunds and release of blocked funds: Tuesday, 27 October
  • Shares credited to demat accounts: Tuesday, 27 October
  • Listing on NSE and BSE: Wednesday, 28 October

Check on KFin Technologies (the registrar)

  1. Go to KFin's IPO status page, ipostatus.kfintech.com.
  2. Select Jio Platforms (listed as JPL) from the drop-down.
  3. Choose PAN, application number or demat account details, and enter them.
  4. Submit to see how many shares, if any, were allotted.

Check on NSE

  1. Open the "Status of Issue Application" page on nseindia.com (under Invest, check trades and verify IPO bids).
  2. Select "Equity & SME IPO bid details" and choose JPL as the issue.
  3. Enter your PAN and application number, and submit.

Check on BSE

  1. Open the "Status of Issue Application" page on bseindia.com.
  2. Choose Equity as the issue type and select Jio Platforms (JPL).
  3. Enter your application number or PAN, complete the captcha, and submit.

What are your chances?

The issue closed 22.19 times subscribed, with the retail portion booked 2.72 times, the Reliance Industries shareholders' quota 7.60 times and the employee quota 2.93 times. When a retail portion is oversubscribed, SEBI's rules require the registrar to give at least one lot (12 shares) to as many retail applicants as possible, choosing among applicants by a computerised lottery where there are not enough shares for everyone. Applying for more lots does not raise a retail applicant's chance of getting the first lot.

If you did not get shares

For UPI applications, your bank releases the blocked amount; for ASBA applications through net banking, the block on your account is removed. Both are due by about 27 October. If the money still shows as blocked after that, check your UPI app or contact your bank.

If you did get shares

The shares should appear in your demat account on 27 October, and you can sell them from the listing on 28 October. Jio Platforms priced its anchor allocation at ₹1,119 a share, the top of the band, when it raised ₹8,110 crore from 212 anchor investors.
