In a significant leadership transition, Britannia Industries Limited has announced that Siddharth Gupta will assume the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), following the resignation of Amit Doshi. Doshi, who rejoined Britannia as CMO in January 2022, has resigned effective March 17, 2025.
Siddharth Gupta joined Britannia in 2018 and currently serves as the General Manager – Marketing, overseeing Premium Creams, Crackers, Marie, and Milk biscuits. Prior to his tenure at Britannia, Gupta spent over a decade at Colgate-Palmolive India, where he managed key product portfolios, including Visible White, Max Fresh, and Sensitive toothpaste, as well as the OTC tooth pain relief gel, PainOut. His extensive experience in brand strategy and product management positions him well to lead Britannia’s marketing initiatives.
Amit Doshi’s departure marks the end of his second tenure with Britannia. Before rejoining as CMO in 2022, he had a nearly nine-year stint with the company, holding various roles across marketing, sales, and product management. In his recent role, Doshi was responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth, enhancing brand equity, and expanding market share.
