Over- the- top (OTT) streaming platforms have seen a never- ending surge in India in recent years. While earlier, going to theaters was a vogue but with busy schedule and different priorities, sitting in the comfort of our home became a new normal. The credit obviously goes to the plethora of options that we have such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, JioCinema, Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5 and many more. These OTT platforms provide us from international to National contents with variety of content like web series, movies and much more.

1. Posham Pa

Posham Pa is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language
psychological thriller film directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay. Based on true events, the story revolves around a psychologically disturbed mother who coerces her daughters into a life of crime. Their case becomes a national sensation
in India; overnight, these women are monsters personified. The film stars Mahie Gill, Sayani Gupta, and Ragini Khanna in the lead roles and was released on 23 August 2019.

Sarfira is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by 2D Entertainment, Abundantia Entertainment, and Cape Of Good Films. Starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Radhika Madan, the film is about a man who fights to make his dream of creating a low-cost airline a reality, facing opposition from devious competitive airline owners who threaten his business
and his passengers’ safety. It is a remake of Kongara’s Tamil film Soorarai Pottru (2020), which itself was an adaptation of G. R. Gopinath’s memoir Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.
