KableOne, a new Punjabi OTT platform, has officially launched on JioStore, increasing its reach to millions of potential users. Backed by Seven Colors Broadcasting and Saga Studios, KableOne offers a range of on-demand movies, live TV, and radio channels, catering to Punjabi audiences worldwide.
Key titles in the library include Ardas Karan, Subedar Joginder Singh, Manje Bistre, and more, with subtitles available for non-Punjabi speakers. The platform also offers premium subscription options, starting from Rs 2,500 annually, along with special perks like free Noise headphones.
Having debuted across platforms like iOS, Android, Apple TV, Android TV, and more, KableOne is now focused on global audiences. CEO Simranjeet Singh emphasized the importance of Punjabi stories, predicting that Punjab’s cultural heritage is “the next big thing” in entertainment.
KableOne’s subscription pricing includes monthly, biannual, and annual plans, with the premium annual plan priced at Rs 4,000, offering ad-free content and four simultaneous logins. Upcoming films like Do Dooni Panj, Warning, and Cheta Singh are expected to attract significant viewership.
KableOne faces competition from established platforms like Disney+ Hotstar and Netflix, but its focus on Punjabi content positions it uniquely to tap into the Punjabi diaspora’s appetite for regional entertainment.
