In a landmark collaboration, Sagar World Multimedia and Aerika Cineworks have joined forces with Doordarshan to present the devotional series ‘Jai Mata Vaishno Devi Ki’, launched on October 2, 2024, in time for the Navratri season. This 11-episode series, airing daily at 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm, with repeat telecasts at 7:00 am and 12:00 pm, offers a spiritual and immersive experience that beautifully intertwines devotion, mythology, and breathtaking visuals.

Produced by Prem Sagar, Neelam Sagar, and Shiv Sagar, with J.C. Chaudhry as presenter, the series delves into the legendary tale of Shri Ram and Mata Vaishno, offering audiences a chance to reconnect with the rich traditions of Indian culture. Directed by Dharmesh Shah and based on the book Vaishno Devi – Jammu by Shri Suraj Saraf, the narrative traces Mata Vaishnodevi’s spiritual journey from Ratnagiri to Trikuta Parbat, where she awaits Shri Ram in his ‘Kalki’ avatar.

Filmed across spectacular locations including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, and Vrindavan, the series is a visual masterpiece that encapsulates the essence of devotion and spirituality. Despite the challenges of post-COVID production, the team managed to complete filming within 50 days, ensuring both indoor and outdoor sequences exude authenticity and grandeur.

Shiv Sagar, grandson of legendary Ramanand Sagar, has taken on the role of creative director, infusing the project with modern cinematic techniques while preserving the essence of traditional storytelling. Known for his previous works like ‘Mahima Shani Devi Ki’ and ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’, Shiv Sagar has also written the screenplay, ensuring the story appeals to audiences of all ages.

As Navratri celebrations begin, ‘Jai Mata Vaishno Devi Ki’ transcends mere entertainment, offering a shared cultural experience of devotion, faith, and tradition for families across India.
