Bengaluru-based sports and fitness brand Boldfit has raised over ₹400 crore (about million) in a Series B round led by Bharat Value Fund, which is managed by The Wealth Company Alternates, part of the Pantomath Group, Business Today reported on 13 October. Existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners also took part.

The round is Bharat Value Fund’s largest consumer-sector investment so far and its fourth major deal in 12 months. Avendus Capital was the exclusive financial adviser to Boldfit and its shareholders.

From online to offline

Boldfit plans to use the money for nationwide retail expansion, scaling manufacturing, product innovation and selective acquisitions to enter or deepen its presence in certain categories, according to the fund’s statement. The move follows a familiar path for digital-first brands that have built scale online and now want a physical footprint; the company has not disclosed a store count.

About Boldfit

Founded in 2018 by Pallav Bihani, Boldfit sells sportswear, athletic footwear, sports equipment and fitness essentials. The company says it serves more than 2 crore customers a year and has grown at a compound annual rate of more than 80% over the past three years. It raised a ₹110 crore Series A from Bessemer in 2024, Inc42 reported, and counts cricketer KL Rahul, also its brand ambassador, and former tennis player Sania Mirza among its investors.

The deal comes as investors favour fewer, larger cheques: Indian tech funding rose to .3 billion in the first nine months of 2026 even as the number of rounds fell, according to Tracxn. Earlier this year, first-quarter startup funding fell 26% year on year.
