Emerging smart kitchen appliance innovator Beyond Appliances has successfully raised $2 million in its seed funding round. Spearheaded by Fireside Venture Investment Fund III, the funding marks a significant step toward advancing the company’s production capabilities and technology innovation.

Founded in 2024 by Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil, Beyond Appliances has gained attention for its cutting-edge kitchen technology. The startup’s product range includes:

  1. Android-powered chimneys with a 7-inch display doubling as a kitchen management system.
  2. DosaMatic, an automatic dosa-making machine offering convenience to Indian households.
  3. Smart hobs with digital timers and enhanced safety features, such as Flame Failure Detection (FFD).
  4. Whistle counters for precise cooking control.

The Android chimney stands out by integrating apps like Zepto and Blinkit, enabling users to access OTT platforms, stream music, set reminders, and create grocery lists seamlessly.

The $2 million funding will be directed toward:

  • Scaling production capacity to meet growing demand.
  • Accelerating technological advancements for new product innovations.
