WAM! Delhi Celebrates India’s Growing Manga, Anime, and Webtoon Talent

The Media & Entertainment Association of India (MEAI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, successfully hosted WAM! (WAVES Anime & Manga Contest) in Delhi on November 30.

Drawing 199 participants across manga, webtoon, and anime categories, the event also featured vibrant cosplay and voice acting showcases. Esteemed guests included Vietnamese actress Mai Thu Huyen and MEAI President Sushil Kumar Bhasin.

A highlight was the sneak peek of TRIO, India’s first anime under development by Vaibhavi Studios, sparking excitement among attendees.
