Times Network has established itself as the leading digital news publisher, amassing 104 million monthly unique users across its digital platforms, according to Comscore data for August 2024. This accomplishment positions Times Network ahead of major competitors like NDTV (99 million users), ABP Network (89 million users), Jagran (86 million users), and Indian Express (77 million users), solidifying its dominance in the general and business news segments.
In a press statement, Times Network attributed its success to its innovative content strategies and digital-first initiatives, which have driven a remarkable 168 percent growth since February 2024—far outpacing the industry’s average growth rate of four percent. This surge has been fueled by its diverse portfolio of platforms, including TimesNow.in, ETNow.in, TimesNowNavbharat.in, Zoomtv.com, and Digit.in, which deliver a personalized news experience enriched with AI and Augmented Reality.
Additionally, the recent acquisition of Digit.in has played a key role in the network’s growth, leading to a 160 percent increase in performance within three months.
The network has also expanded its audience by venturing into regional languages such as Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Bangla, with plans to introduce content in Malayalam and Kannada.
Earlier this year, Times Network was recognized as India’s fastest-growing digital video news network, reaching over 4 billion viewers monthly across its channels.
