The much-anticipated action drama Azaad, directed by Abhishek Kapoor and starring Ajay Devgn, Diana Penty, and newcomers Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani, has unveiled its powerful teaser, promising an intense cinematic experience set in the historic Battle of Haldighati.

Known for his previous hits Kai Po Che and Kedarnath, Abhishek Kapoor brings to life the valorous story of Maharana Pratap, who led a small but fierce force of 8,000–9,000 warriors against an opposing army of 40,000. The teaser hints at a majestic narrative celebrating loyalty and bravery, underscored by the unique relationship between Maharana Pratap and his legendary steed—described by Kapoor as “tall as an elephant” and “quick as lightning.” The horse symbolizes Pratap’s unbreakable spirit and agility in the face of overwhelming odds.

Kapoor shared a glimpse of the teaser on social media, captioning it, “Har jung mein, har bahadur yodha ke saath, ek wafadaar ghoda zaroor raha hai” – emphasizing the historic bond between warrior and steed. Ajay Devgn, who plays a pivotal role, also shared the film’s poster, captioning it, “Kahaani yaari ki. Kahaani wafadaari ki. Kahaani #Azaad ki!” adding to the film’s high anticipation.

Adding excitement to Azaad is the Bollywood debut of Aaman Devgan (Ajay Devgn’s nephew) and Rasha Thadani (daughter of actress Raveena Tandon), marking their entry into Indian cinema with a grand historical project.
