Tata-Owned Voltas MD & CEO Pradeep Bakshi to Step Down in August

Tata-owned Voltas Ltd, a leading home appliances and air-conditioning company, has announced that its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Pradeep Bakshi, will step down after completing his term in August 2025. The development was first reported by The Economic Times.

Voltas has appointed Mukundan Menon, currently the Executive Director and Head of the Room Air Conditioners Business, as Bakshi’s successor. Menon will assume the role of MD designate in April 2025 and take full charge as Managing Director by September.

Bakshi has been an integral part of Voltas for over two decades, bringing a wealth of experience in the consumer durables and appliances industry. Under his leadership, Voltas strengthened its position as a market leader in air conditioning and home appliances.
