Swastik Stories Launches India’s First Cultural Storytelling FAST Channel

Swastik Stories, the creative powerhouse renowned for celebrated Indian mythological and historical dramas, has announced the launch of India’s first cultural storytelling and entertainment FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channel. The company claims the new digital destination, also titled Swastik Stories, is where India’s history, values, and imagination come alive for the modern audience, carrying the nation’s cultural wisdom forward.

The launch significantly expands Swastik’s vision into the FAST ecosystem, ensuring free, round-the-clock access to viewers. According to an official press release, the channel is immediately available across major digital and connected TV platforms, including JioTV, LG, Xiaomi TV, and RunnTV. Collectively, these platforms provide access to over 50 million users. Swastik projects that the platform will reach 90 percent of CTV households by March 2026, making cultural stories accessible across mobile, digital, and Connected TV (CTV) devices.

The new Swastik Stories FAST channel builds upon the production house’s impressive 18-year legacy of creating visually grand and emotionally powerful narratives. This content library includes hit shows like Mahabharat, RadhaKrishn, Porus, and Shrimad Ramayan.

Marking the channel’s debut, the first original digital show, ‘Hamara Vinayak’, will premiere on October 31. The show will initially debut on the Swastik Stories YouTube channel, with same-day streaming on the FAST platform across JioTV, LG, Xiaomi, and RunnTV. Embracing the trend of short-form content, the series will feature a short-format cinematic storytelling style with episodes running for 10–12 minutes.

Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Founder & Chief Storyteller at Swastik Stories, commented on the launch: “Swastik Stories is about giving Indian culture a new rhythm in the digital age. We want to reach every screen, every home, and every viewer who seeks meaning and connection in the stories of our past—told in a voice that belongs to the present. This is not just a channel launch but the beginning of a cultural storytelling movement.”

Supporting this content movement, 1Finance has partnered as a major sponsor for the shows. Drashti Thaker, AVP Marketing at 1Finance, explained their collaboration with ‘Hamara Vinayak’, noting that the story “mirrors the lives of today’s mass affluent, those striving for growth while seeking the right counsel to achieve balance and clarity in their financial journey.”
