‘Maxton Hall’ Season 2 Teaser Drops, Setting November 7 Global Premiere Date on Prime Video

Fans of the hit Prime Video original series, ‘Maxton Hall – The World Between Us‘, can mark their calendars as the second season is officially set to premiere worldwide on November 7. Prime Video today released the first teaser for the highly anticipated return, instantly igniting excitement and speculation across social media platforms.

The new chapter of ‘Maxton Hall’ picks up directly after the events of the first season, following Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James (Damian Hardung) as they share a transformative night in Oxford. According to the official press release from Prime Video, Ruby believes her dreams are finally within reach, but her world is abruptly turned upside down by a devastating twist within James’ family. Just as things seem to be aligning, James delivers a blow that shatters her reality and sends her reeling back to earth.

Heartbroken, Ruby yearns for the simplicity of her past life at Maxton Hall, when she was largely invisible within its elite corridors. However, walking away from James proves to be a formidable challenge. The deeper her pain, the more determined James becomes to win back her affection and trust.

Season 2 is based on “Save You,” the second book in Mona Kasten’s bestselling novel series. It promises an emotional rollercoaster, delving into themes of torn loyalties, broken trust, and intense passion. The newly released teaser hints at darker emotional layers and deeper personal struggles for both Ruby and James as they navigate the increasingly blurred lines of their complex relationship, oscillating between love and betrayal.

The beloved cast will be returning alongside Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung, including Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, and Eli Riccardi as Elaine. This ensemble ensures the rich, conflicted, and emotionally charged universe of Maxton Hall returns in full force.

Martin Schreier (Traumfabrik) once again directs the season, with producers Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim, who also serves as head writer, guiding the creative vision. Juliana Lima Dehne and Marlene Melchior contributed to the screenwriting, and Valentin Debler returns as producer under the UFA Fiction banner. The production benefits from support from the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF), contributing to the series’ visual and emotional scale.

With its compelling blend of class tension, youthful romance, and profound emotional depth, ‘Maxton Hall – The World Between Us’ became a standout success in its debut season. As Season 2 approaches, it is clear that the world between Ruby and James is poised to become even more complicated and captivating for audiences worldwide.
