Koffee With Karan Returns for Its Ninth and Final Season, With Salman Khan as First Guest

Karan Johar's celebrity talk show Koffee With Karan has returned for a ninth season, which will be its last. The season premiered on JioHotstar, through its Peacock Hub, on 14 October 2026, with Salman Khan as the first guest.

In the season's promo, Johar told Khan that because this was the last season, the conversation could go anywhere. Khan, in a reply that set the tone, agreed it would. The show first aired in 2004, and the final season closes a run of 22 years.

What Salman Khan said

Khan revisited his once-public rift with Shah Rukh Khan, calling him his "brother" and saying the two are on good terms, Outlook reported. He also suggested that Johar had once been wary of him because of that old feud, which Johar denied.

Karisma Kapoor joined the episode as a special guest to run the rapid-fire round. Khan, who turns 61 on 27 December, also spoke about wanting to be a father.

Where to watch

The season streams on JioHotstar. New episodes are expected weekly on Wednesdays, according to entertainment site Bollywood Dadi, although the full guest list for the season has not been officially announced.

A big week for celebrity streaming

The final season gives JioHotstar one of Hindi entertainment's best-known talk-show franchises during the festive season. The same week, Roadies Rebirth, the 21st season of the adventure reality show hosted by Rannvijay Singha, began streaming on Netflix and JioHotstar on 16 October.
