AION-Tech Solutions Ltd (formerly Goldstone Technologies) has announced the appointment of Biju Mathews as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective February 11, 2026. This strategic leadership hire signals a major shift for the Hyderabad-based IT services firm as it pivots from a services-heavy model toward platform-led growth and long-term value creation.
Biju Mathews brings over 32 years of experience across enterprise technology, analytics platforms, digital commerce, and EV mobility. Known for his ability to steer companies through critical inflection points, Mathews is tasked with scaling AION-Tech’s analytics capabilities and strengthening its execution discipline in a competitive global market.
“AION-Tech is entering a pivotal phase of evolution,” said Chanakya Bellam, Director at AION-Tech Solutions. “Biju brings clarity of vision and the operational maturity required to steer the organization through this next chapter.”
Before joining AION-Tech, Mathews served as the CEO of ETO Motors, where he played a key role in positioning the company as a leader in clean mobility solutions. His diverse career also includes a nearly two-decade stint at the Indian Express Mumbai Group, where he served as Vice President, focusing on revenue strategy and operating model transformation.
His core areas of expertise include:
- Strategic Resets: Transitioning firms from services-led models to SaaS and analytics-led revenues.
- Operational Maturity: Institutionalizing process-driven frameworks to replace founder-dependent structures.
- Growth Partnerships: Forging global alliances to enhance delivery predictability and client relationships.
The appointment comes as AION-Tech (BSE: 531439 | NSE: GOLDTECH) reported its Q3 FY26 results. While the standalone business saw a positive turnaround with a net profit of ₹2 crore, the consolidated figures faced challenges due to performance across certain subsidiaries. Mathews’ immediate focus will be on integrating these business units—including ETO Motors and ROQIT—into a unified, high-margin operational framework.
“Technology and data are increasingly central to how enterprises make decisions,” said Mathews. “AION-Tech has a strong foundation, and I look forward to working with our teams to build sustainable, long-term value for our stakeholders.”
