Adobe’s Creative Boost: Igniting India’s Creator Fire

Adobe is making significant strides in empowering India’s burgeoning creator economy. At the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES), Adobe announced a series of strategic initiatives designed to fuel the “Create in India, Create for the World” vision championed by the Indian government. These partnerships aim to equip the next generation of Indian creators with cutting-edge tools and resources.

Adobe’s commitment to India’s creative landscape is evident in its multi-faceted approach. The company is forging collaborations with key players across education, technology, and industry:

  • Partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS): Adobe and TCS are joining forces to launch an AI-powered Creative Experience Studio (ACES) specifically for the Indian market. By combining Adobe’s technology and AI capabilities with TCS Interactive’s expertise, ACES will deliver culturally relevant, high-impact content and personalized marketing experiences. This initiative seeks to help businesses and public sector enterprises engage their audiences with greater impact, speed, and scale.
  • Collaboration with Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT): To foster digital creativity and innovation in education, Adobe is partnering with IICT. This collaboration involves Adobe making significant investments in IICT, including providing free access to Adobe Creative Cloud for students, contributing to curriculum development, enabling faculty training, and offering student mentorship.
  • Partnership with Accenture: Adobe has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Accenture to upskill students from over 50 design institutes in India. This partnership includes the formation of an advisory board to provide internships and employment opportunities to skilled youth. Furthermore, it aims to support the establishment of creativity clubs and hubs in PM SHRI schools, as well as in state and central government schools, to promote innovation and creative learning.
  • Collaboration with WAVES: Adobe is working directly with WAVES to provide creators with access to essential digital and creative tools. As part of its partnership with WAVES Bazaar, Adobe will offer discounted Creative Cloud subscriptions to help sellers enhance their marketing efforts with compelling creative content. Adobe will also provide top creative talent from the Creatosphere challenge with access to its industry-leading creative products.

Adobe’s initiatives extend beyond these key partnerships. The company is also working to integrate digital creativity and AI skills into K-12 education. Adobe is collaborating with India’s Ministry of Education to deploy premium licenses of Adobe Express for Education in PM SHRI and CBSE schools, along with providing training for teachers and students, completely free of cost. This initiative includes partnerships with prestigious institutions such as Kendriya Vidyalayas, Army Public Schools, and Reliance Foundation Schools.

Adobe’s recent unveiling of the new Firefly Image Model 4, Firefly Video Model, and the upcoming Adobe Firefly app, which integrates Adobe’s commercially safe models and additional models from partners like Google and OpenAI, further demonstrates its commitment to providing creators with the latest advancements in creative technology.

Through these strategic partnerships and initiatives, Adobe is playing a crucial role in empowering India’s creator economy and supporting the nation’s vision of becoming a global creative powerhouse.
