South Asia’s premier advertising festival, Goafest, is gearing up for its 18th edition in Goa from May 21st to 23rd, 2025, promising a vibrant confluence of creativity, collaboration, and a keen focus on nurturing future talent. With the theme “Ignite ______,” this year’s event aims to be more inclusive, future-facing, and impactful than ever before, especially for the next generation of advertising professionals.

Goafest has evolved beyond just an awards show, positioning itself as a crucial platform for the advertising, media, and marketing industries to unite, reflect, reset, and reimagine the future. In uncertain times, the festival provides a vital space for open dialogue and collective thinking, addressing the rapidly evolving landscape shaped by data, technology, and shifting consumer expectations.

This year introduces the “Goafest Village,” an immersive and experiential environment designed to spark inspiration and facilitate seamless networking among the expected 10,000 delegates. This novel concept will host multiple venues and experiences under one roof, reflecting the multifaceted nature of the industry and fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas.

A significant spotlight at Goafest 2025 will be on young and emerging talent. Recognizing that “talent is our industry’s raw material,” the festival has curated workshops, masterclasses, and increased access to top industry leaders. This focus aims to position Goafest as a true launchpad for the next wave of creatives and marketers, ensuring their voices and views are central to industry deliberations.

Adding to this initiative is “Advertising Rocks Season 3,” a musical talent showdown open to solo and duet performers from the advertising, marketing, and media fraternity. Shortlisted participants will compete in semi-finals at Goafest, culminating in a grand finale with attractive prizes and recognition.

The prestigious ABBY Awards Powered by One Show 2025 will once again be a highlight of Goafest, honoring outstanding achievements in advertising and media. This year introduces new categories under the Media ABBYs, including Small Budget Big Impact, Sports Marketing, and Micro Marketing, bringing the total to 24 categories. The Creative ABBYs will feature 23 categories with 232 sub-categories, further expanding opportunities to celebrate innovation and storytelling excellence.  

The esteemed Awards Governing Council and an exceptional panel of Jury Chairs, comprising leaders from top agencies and creative powerhouses, will ensure that the most groundbreaking and impactful work is recognized, setting new creative benchmarks for the industry.
