The new channel, which evolves from the company’s previous youth-focused brand, ‘Chumbak TV,’ aims to capitalize on India’s immense love for cinema by offering a lineup of high-energy blockbusters.
The channel’s library will feature a diverse range of films, from action and drama to romance and comedy. Confirmed titles for the channel’s programming include popular movies like PK, Animal, Kantara, KGF, Bahubali, Waltair Veerayya, 12th Fail, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
According to the company, ‘Shemaroo Josh’ is a “natural extension” of Shemaroo’s long-standing legacy in the Indian entertainment industry. The channel will be widely accessible, launching on DD Free Dish, all major DTH platforms, and cable networks to ensure it reaches households across the country.
