Comedian Samay Raina has removed all episodes of his YouTube show, “India’s Got Latent,” following significant controversy over remarks made by guest Ranveer Allahbadia. Raina announced this decision on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all ‘India’s Got Latent’ videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly.”

The controversy arose when Allahbadia, a well-known influencer, made inappropriate comments during an episode, which led to public outrage and legal scrutiny. In response, Allahbadia issued a public apology, acknowledging his mistake and stating, “I shouldn’t have said what I said on ‘India’s Got Latent.’ I’m sorry.”

The Maharashtra Cyber Department has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the show and summoned over 40 individuals, including Allahbadia and Raina, for investigation.

“India’s Got Latent” was a talent show hosted by Raina on YouTube, featuring various acts evaluated by a panel of judges. Despite its popularity, the show faced criticism for the use of inappropriate language by some panelists.
