Sahira Nair Elevated to Head of Hindi Scripted Series at Prime Video India

Prime Video India has promoted Sahira Nair to the role of Head of Hindi Scripted Series. Previously serving as the Head of Hindi Franchise Series, Nair has been a significant force behind some of Prime Video’s biggest successes, including hit series such as Mirzapur, The Family Man, Bandish Bandits, Jubilee, and Dahaad.

In her LinkedIn post announcing the promotion, Nair expressed her excitement about stepping into this new role, stating her passion for storytelling and the opportunity to develop even more engaging characters and iconic franchises for Prime Video’s audience.

Sahira Nair, originally from Delhi, boasts a robust background in television and film production. She pursued her education at Vasant Valley School before obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. During her career, she has contributed to critically acclaimed projects such as The Sopranos, Gossip Girl, and CSI: New York. Nair also worked as an assistant director on films like The Darjeeling Limited, The Good Shepherd, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

Prior to joining Prime Video in 2019, Nair held important roles at Epic TV, Kaleidoscope Entertainment, and Ishara Films.
