The appointment follows a successful near three-year tenure at JioHotstar, solidifying her expertise in high-impact, digital-first content promotion and strategic brand building. This key hire is expected to bolster T-Series’ market presence and next-generation entertainment marketing efforts.

Richa Vaidya announced her career transition via a heartfelt post on LinkedIn, expressing her excitement for the new chapter. “After an incredible journey of 2.9 years at JioHotstar—where I had the privilege to lead digital-first content marketing strategies across original web series and major campaigns—I am excited to share that I will be joining T-Series as Deputy General Manager, Music Marketing,” she shared.

Her move to T-Series, one of the world’s leading music and film production companies, positions her at the forefront of the dynamic Indian music industry. Richa aims to focus on “enhancing [her] skills, learning and growing in the ever-changing and dynamic world of music to build the next era of entertainment marketing.” She emphasized her readiness for new creative challenges and collaborations, stating her commitment to “making every campaign count.”

Vaidya brings a strong track record of marketing excellence from her previous roles at major industry players.

At JioHotstar (formerly encompassing JioCinema and Voot Select under Digital Ventures), Richa was pivotal in directing comprehensive content marketing strategies. Her portfolio includes highly successful campaigns for major projects like the JioCinema Premium Launch, post-theatrical releases such as Vikram Vedha and Bloody Daddy, and original web series including Kaalkoot, Bajao, Ranneeti, Murder in Mahim, and Shekhar Home. Her notable campaigns for Kaalkoot earned her prestigious recognition at the ScreenXX Summit Adgully Awards for Best Marketing Campaign – Across Platforms and Best Marketing Campaign – Digital, alongside the Superhit Award for Execution Excellence at the Viacom18 MAD Awards.

Prior to her role at JioHotstar, Richa spent over seven years contributing to Yash Raj Films (YRF), where she managed marketing and merchandising for some of Bollywood’s biggest theatrical and digital releases across both India and international markets. Her successful film slate during this period included blockbusters like FAN, Sultan, Sui Dhaaga, War, and Pathaan.

With her deep experience spanning film, OTT platform launches, and digital-first content marketing, Richa Vaidya is strategically poised to drive innovation and high traffic to the music marketing initiatives at T-Series, reinforcing the company’s position as a digital powerhouse.
