Prime Video has released the official trailer for Harlan Coben’s ‘Lazarus,’ a new thriller series set to premiere exclusively on the platform on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The six-part series will be available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The show stars Sam Claflin as Joel Lazarus and Bill Nighy as his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus. Written by Coben and BAFTA-winner Danny Brocklehurst, the plot follows Joel’s return home after his father’s sudden death. He soon begins to experience “unexplainable phenomena,” which draws him into a complex web of cold cases, including the murder of his own sister 25 years earlier. The series promises a blend of psychological intrigue and mystery, characteristic of Coben’s work.
The cast also includes Alexandra Roach, David Fynn, Karla Crome, and Kate Ashfield. The show is executive produced by Coben, Brocklehurst, Nicola Shindler, and Richard Fee. Wayne Che Yip, who also serves as an executive producer, directed the first two episodes.
