In a major boost to its Indian original slate, Prime Video has announced a landmark collaboration with Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions for an upcoming original film titled ‘Don’t Be Shy’. This coming-of-age romantic comedy marks a significant creative partnership, bringing together the global reach of the streaming giant and the distinct, female-led storytelling of the production house founded by sisters Alia and Shaheen Bhatt.

Written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, ‘Don’t Be Shy’ centers on the life of Shyamili ‘Shy’ Das, a 20-year-old woman who believes she has her life meticulously mapped out. However, her world is turned upside down by a series of unexpected events that force her to navigate the chaotic and emotional crossroads of love, friendship, and self-discovery.

The film is produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt, with Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani serving as co-producers. Adding to the film’s youthful energy is a soulful soundtrack composed by the renowned Ram Sampath.
