The 8th edition of the highly anticipated Maruti Suzuki Arena Devils Circuit in Mumbai concluded with great fanfare, drawing over 6,500 fitness enthusiasts. As India’s largest obstacle race, this year’s event set a new standard, offering a mix of physical and mental challenges to participants from diverse backgrounds.
Held on 20th October, the event unfolded with waves of participants hitting the obstacle course, designed to push limits in every way possible. Known for combining adventure and fitness, this edition featured an array of challenging obstacles, including rope climbs, water pits, and balancing beams, that tested not just physical endurance but mental toughness as well.
The event maintained a vibrant atmosphere throughout, with energetic warm-up sessions and music setting the tone for the day. Every 20 minutes, a fresh wave of participants entered the course, ensuring a seamless experience for all involved. Participants who completed the course found their way to the buzzing Expo Area for post-race celebrations, complete with interactive zones, food stalls, and music.
The fastest finishers of the event were Vikram Sagar in the men’s category and Zahabiya Merchant in the women’s category. Vikram secured his victory with a time of 42 minutes and 11 seconds, while Zahabiya crossed the finish line in 48 minutes and 7 seconds. Their perseverance and skill were recognised at the prize ceremony, which was attended by Mr. Arun Bhati, Zonal Sales Head West, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, who presented awards to the top contenders.
Adding to the energy of the day, various brand partners created engagement zones, including the interactive “One Tribe One Drive” zone from Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Jockey zone. The Red Bull, Bisleri, and Volini recovery zones offered participants a well-deserved break after completing the grueling course.
