The tool works by scanning video content to identify over 600 emotions and objects. By tagging moments such as celebrations, smiles, or family interactions, Moment.AI ensures that ad placements are seamlessly integrated with the narrative rather than being disruptive. According to Mahesh Shetty, Head of Revenue for Entertainment at JioStar, this technology-driven approach aims to create more effective campaigns for brands while providing a more engaging experience for viewers.
Moment.AI is designed for versatility, with applications across various sectors, including handsets, jewelry, skincare, food and beverages, fashion, and festivals. Early studies conducted by the company indicate a significant 34% uplift in advertising effectiveness compared to conventional ad placements. This new tool, currently active across JioStar’s entertainment network, is poised to go live on JioHotstar soon.
