The Glenmark Nutrition Awards, now in their fifth year, have concluded with the announcement of winners for 2025. This prestigious initiative, organized by Glenmark Foundation in partnership with Idobro, UN Global Compact Network India, and IMPAct4Nutrition, aims to recognize and support organizations working tirelessly to combat malnutrition in India. The awards received an overwhelming response, with over 403 entries from 22 states, covering 168 districts across the country.

• Rural NGO Category: Baikunthapur Tarun Sangha, Sundarbans, West Bengal, was recognized for its impactful work in addressing malnutrition in rural areas.
• Urban NGO Category: SNEH Foundation, Pune, Maharashtra, stood out for its initiatives in urban settings.
• Other Category: Mahavir International Foundation Trust, Jaipur, Rajasthan, was awarded for its innovative approaches to nutrition.
• Each of these organizations received a grant of INR 2,00,000 to further their transformative projects.

The esteemed jury, chaired by Dr. Raju Jotkar, Senior Consultant at the Mother-Child Health & Nutrition Mission, Government of Maharashtra, evaluated the entries based on innovation, impact, and sustainability. The selection process ensured fairness, transparency, and a focus on initiatives that not only address current nutritional needs but also ensure sustainable food systems for future generations.

Glenmark Foundation has been committed to combating malnutrition for over a decade, focusing on children aged 0 to 6 years and pregnant and lactating mothers. The awards program is part of a broader strategy to promote holistic nutrition solutions across India’s diverse landscape.
