In a major move to expand its football content portfolio, FanCode, India’s premier digital sports destination, has signed a multi-year broadcast partnership with the ROSHN Saudi League. The exclusive four-year deal, which runs from the 2025/26 season through the 2028/29 season, grants FanCode comprehensive rights to stream the league across India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
The agreement solidifies FanCode’s position as a key player in the South Asian sports streaming market by bringing one of the world’s most talked-about football leagues to its platform. Under the new deal, FanCode will stream more than 150 matches every year. A significant part of the partnership ensures that viewers will have access to at least one match featuring superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr team every week, along with other marquee fixtures featuring powerhouse clubs like Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahly. The deal also includes exclusive broadcast rights for the Saudi Super Cup and the Saudi Kings Cup.
FanCode co-founder Yannick Colaco stated, “We’re thrilled to bring the ROSHN Saudi League to fans across the region. With world-class talent like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Sadio Mané competing in the league, it’s become one of the most exciting competitions to watch.” He added that the partnership aligns with FanCode’s goal of becoming a “one-stop destination for football fans,” complementing its existing rights for leagues such as LALIGA, the EFL Cup, and major AFC tournaments.
The ROSHN Saudi League has witnessed explosive growth in global popularity, particularly in South Asia, following the influx of international stars. With the season set to run from August to May, FanCode is banking on consistent, star-driven action to capture and retain a growing viewership in the region’s digitally savvy market. The first match under the new agreement, a clash between Al Hilal and Al Riyadh, is scheduled to be broadcast on August 29, 2025.
