Dish TV has announced a significant partnership with Samsung India and NAGRAVISION, aimed at revolutionizing the TV viewing experience for Samsung customers. The newly introduced Dish TV Smart+ services will allow premium and secure content delivery directly to Samsung Connected TVs, eliminating the need for a traditional set-top box.
This integration, built in collaboration with NAGRAVISION, incorporates Dish TV’s Smart+ service directly into select Samsung TV models, providing customers with access to both linear TV channels and over-the-top (OTT) content through a single interface. The service is available in Samsung’s 2024 TV models, including the UHD 8 Series and above, enabling users to activate Dish TV without any additional hardware.
In an effort to simplify the setup process, customers can now choose Dish TV Smart+ as their default direct-to-home (DTH) service. This seamless integration of both traditional TV and OTT content is powered by Samsung’s on-chip security, ensuring that premium content is securely transmitted to viewers.
To commemorate this collaboration, Dish TV is offering a complimentary one-month subscription to new users. This promotional offer includes access to a wide variety of TV channels and 16 OTT apps, delivered through Dish TV’s in-house OTT platform, Watcho. By merging DTH services with digital streaming content, Dish TV enhances user convenience and content flexibility.
