In a boost for AI-driven innovation in the travel industry, 30 Sundays, an AI-first travel startup, has secured $770,000 in pre-seed funding led by Infoedge Ventures. The funding round saw additional support from First Cheque, Eximius, Misfits, and other angel investors. This fresh capital will enable 30 Sundays to expand its destination offerings, with a strategic focus on European and long-haul travel. Additionally, the startup will strengthen its AI and data capabilities to elevate customer experience through enhanced automation and personalization.

Founded in 2022 by Kshitij Chaudhary and Anuj, 30 Sundays leverages generative AI to automate critical operations, including itinerary updates and customer data collection. This AI-driven model allows the platform to gather and analyze calls and customer reviews at scale, producing actionable insights that streamline services across sales, operations, and marketing. By automating these processes, the startup reports a fivefold increase in operational efficiency, allowing it to cater to a larger customer base with improved service quality—a distinct advantage over traditional travel agencies heavily reliant on manual processes.

The travel market’s growth in India offers a promising backdrop for 30 Sundays’ expansion. According to the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), India’s outbound tourism is projected to grow at 11% annually, expected to reach $18.8 billion by 2024 and $55.4 billion by 2034. This surge presents a vast opportunity for AI-enabled travel platforms like 30 Sundays to transform customer experiences through data-driven insights and automation.
