The company’s open model strategy is also gaining traction, with the lightweight Gemma models receiving over 140 million downloads. In life sciences, Google’s AlphaFold system is now used by over 2.5 million researchers, and the newly introduced AI Co-Scientist aims to accelerate scientific discovery.
