Veteran content creator Nimisha Pandey is set to join Sony SAB as its new Programming Head, following a successful career across leading entertainment platforms. Pandey, who most recently held the position of Chief Content Officer, Hindi Originals at Zee5, brings a wealth of experience to the role.
At Zee5, Pandey spearheaded Hindi originals since January 2021, where she curated and led content strategies that resonated with a wide audience. Before Zee5, she worked as Director of International Originals at Netflix from April 2019 to November 2020, playing a significant role in content development and acquisition.
Pandey also served as Head of Content for ALT Digital Media Entertainment from December 2015 to December 2018, overseeing original content production. Her early career includes being Creative Director at Balaji Telefilms and working with major brands like 4 Lions Films, Fireworks Production, Director’s Kut Productions, Sphere Origins Limited, and Shreya Entertainment.
Starting her career in 2004 at Sony Entertainment (then Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd.), Pandey’s two-decade-long journey has made her a key player in India’s entertainment industry.
