JioCinema Teams Up with Skyscanner for ‘Jeeto Dhan Dhana Dhan’ Contest

JioCinema has announced a new collaboration with global travel app Skyscanner for its immensely popular free-to-play contest, ‘Jeeto Dhan Dhana Dhan’, in conjunction with Bangladesh’s cricket tour of India. The series, featuring two Test matches and three T20 Internationals, will take place from September 19 to October 12, 2024.

This marks one of Skyscanner’s significant ventures in the Indian market, as the platform aims to enhance interactive fan engagement during the matches. By teaming up with JioCinema, Skyscanner is set to offer travel vouchers and discounts for both domestic and international trips, adding excitement to the live sports streaming experience.

Launched during the 2023 TATA IPL season, ‘Jeeto Dhan Dhana Dhan’ has amassed over 100 million users and more than 2 billion plays to date, rewarding fans with prizes such as cars, smart TVs, and gold vouchers worth INR 1.5 crores. Through this collaboration, JioCinema seeks to expand its gamified sports content by integrating travel vouchers as an added incentive.

Viacom18’s spokesperson expressed pride in partnering with Skyscanner for the upcoming series, stating, “Our continued efforts to gamify sports content have created unique opportunities for fans and brands alike.” Skyscanner’s APAC Lead for Affiliate and Performance Partnerships, Glosinda Goes, added, “This collaboration allows us to engage with Indian cricket fans and introduce Skyscanner’s travel services to a broader audience.”

During each matchday, fans can participate in Jeeto Dhan Dhana Dhan by answering live questions on their screens between overs. Prizes from Goibibo, Paytm, and Happy Fares will be available, further boosting the excitement of the event. This partnership signifies a growing trend of gamification in Indian entertainment, with JioCinema at the forefront, creating interactive and rewarding experiences for cricket enthusiasts.
